John Pike is a client of the Baby-sitters Club. He is the father of Mallory, Jordan, Adam, Byron, Vanessa, Nicky, Margo, and Claire Pike. Dee Pike is his wife. John is a member of the Pike Family.
Biography[]
In Mind Your Own Business, Kristy!, John said that he used to comb his hair like Jack Brewster, a former Mets player.
He and his wife are tennis nuts and like to go see tennis matches in Dawn's Wicked Stepsister. He has friends in NYC that he and Dee see in Snowbound.
John once burned his hand cooking for the family when they are sick in Dawn's Wicked Stepsister, and will have a scar.
Dee and John sit down with Mallory to explain that she's been feeling taken advantage of in Mallory on Strike. She and John agree to make a day for Mal to focus on herself. They apologize and try not to do it again.
In Kristy and the Mother's Day Surprise he watched Marnie Barrett so Mrs. Barrett could have a day off for mother's day, since Mr. Barrett is no longer in the picture.
His Uncle Joe bought him a puppy named Spanky for his eighth birthday when he was young. John remembers Joe to be the greatest uncle. He would pull a nickel out of his ear every time he saw him. John would believe that nickel grew in his ears and only Uncle Joe would know how to get them out in Mallory and the Ghost Cat.

He once got laid off and finds a new job at Metro-Works, a smaller firm with a lower salary in Poor Mallory!. He used to be a corporate lawyer for a big company in Stamford.
