Summary[]
Karen's friend Hannie is getting married to a boy named Scott Hsu, and Karen's going to be a bridesmaid. Karen just lost two of her baby teeth, and she has to wear glasses, making Karen feeling like she is an ugly duckling. Karen decides to get a haircut to make her be less uglier, but to make things worse, Karen's hair stylist Gloraina cuts too much hair, not matching the haircut Karen wants. Karen is worried that Hannie will not let her in her wedding, which she did. To get her in Hannie's wedding, Karen tries to change her name a few times to let Hannie in her wedding, but Hannie keeps saying no. Karen keeps trying to change into fashionable clothes, but Hannie keeps saying Karen can't be in her wedding.
Then, Hannie fells off her bike, losing her two front teeth. Hannie is worried that she will look ugly in the wedding photos. Finally, Hannie allows Karen to be her bridesmaid in her wedding, even though Karen's hair is ugly. The wedding ends up a success. At school, Ricky Torres says Karen looks nice, and Karen says thanks. Ricky then says if he wants to marry her, and Karen says yes. Ricky says thanks "Chantal", which was Karen's name to get Hannie in her wedding, and Karen says "It's Karen. Karen Brewer."
