- On page 63, Hannie recalls when when she and Karen went to charm school together in Karen's Tea Party.
Inconsistencies
- On page 25 Karen is pictured in a striped shirt when she's described in text to be wearing a shirt with tropical fish on it.
- Nancy describes herself with light brown hair when she's described or pictured as a redhead or auburn in other books.
- Hannie borrows a bike from David Michael, even though the chapter is set at Karen's mom's house.
