Matt Braddock is a seven-year-old sitting charge of the BSC. He was born profoundly deaf and uses American Sign Language. He has an older sister, Haley Braddock and is a member of the Braddock Family.

Biography[]
Matt plays on Kristy Thomas's baseball team, Kristy's Krushers and is one of the best players on the team. He gets some glory for finding Jake Kuhn after he goes missing from baseball practice in Kristy and the Missing Child. Matt is the one encouraging his group is search near the construction site. He also plays soccer.
He plays tom-toms in the kids' band the BSC organizes called "All the Children of the World" and can feel the beat in Keep Out, Claudia!
He played as Grumpy in the Snow White video for Dawn Schafer in Jessi and the Bad Baby-sitter.
He bought two patches and "moon dust" in the mail only to discover that he didn't want them. Later, he ends up selling the things he bought in Stacey's Choice.
He was in Jessi's group when the BSC took their clients to Sudsy's Carnival in Kristy and the Mother's Day Surprise.
Matt is part of Claudia's art classes in Claudia and the Sad Good-bye.
