Can you believe it?? Everyone in the eighth grade of my school has to write an autobiography. So I've been looking through photo albums and trying to remember the past — the good and the bad. Like when I was five and got to be in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. And when I was eight and Laine and I got in BIG trouble. I've been writing about my life before diabetes, before the divorce, and even before Stoneybrook and the BSC. In fact, everything right up until this minute. So this is my life — welcome to it!
On page 137 Stacey recalls when the BSC visited her in New York from Stacey's Mistake.
Stacey recalls how her friends are really her friends because of her diabetes which was part of Stacey's memory in The Baby-sitters Remember.
Inconsistencies
In this book it says she lived on the Upper East Side. But in Welcome Back, Stacey, she says she has never lived on the East Side before.
Stacey mentions that she never went to Europe in Baby-sitters' European Vacation, however, in this book she mentions going to Ireland and Scotland.
On page 159, Stacey says that she thinks Matt Braddock would love the penguins. Except at this point of her life, Stacey hasn't met him yet.
In chapter 12, Stacey is back in New York City so that part takes place after Stacey's Mistake (because she mentions when the older club members visited her). The chapter is called “When I Was 12.” But Stacey moved back to NYC when she was 13 .
